The type of personal information I collect : I currently collect and process the following information:

 Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics :

- Name

- business/company name

- job title

- profession

- contact information : email addresses, postal address and telephone numbers

- External internet links - Linkedin, social media, website links

- demographic information such as post codes

 During a visit to my website I may collect the following identifiers via website a user stats application:

- demographic information

- IP address

- web browser type and version

- operating system

- a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on this site, and the site you exit to.

How I get the personal information and why I have it

Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you. I collect and use the information that you have given me in order for the following reasons:

- To provide you with further information when you contact me by email, telephone or letter to enquire about my services.

- To provide quotations and outline details of service requirements.

- To provide you with my services - without it, I would not be able to maintain a client account about you, and without that I would not be able to do business with you.

- To receive payment from you for my services.

- To receive feedback you may give me regarding our services to help improve my services.

- In the event I need to enforce my terms of service.

- I may also need to process your data for compliance with a legal obligation to which I am subject

I also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

- If you are a current or potential client and you provide a link to your LinkedIn profile, website, social media accounts or other places which contains information about you, we will obtain information from that source.

- Contact information publicly available on open source Internet pages in order to contact you regarding my services.

- Website user stats application to view activity on my website.

I may share this information with

- I will not share your information with another party without prior agreement.

- I will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required to do so by applicable law.

- I will not share your personal information with any other third party.

Under the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:

How I store your personal information

Your information is securely stored using password protected IT systems and in hard copy form held at a secure location. Cyber Essentials security criteria is adhered to at all times.

I keep personal data relating to Clients in line with the data protection principal that data is kept for no longer than is necessary. For any potential clients with whom I do not proceed to provide services for I only keep their data for 3 months. I dispose of your information by deleting it from IT systems and hard copy documentation is securely shredded on site by an accredited specialist company.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave me to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond to you.
